Born in Bergerac, France in 1846, Dr. Samuel-Jean Pozzi is often described as the father of French gynecology. John Singer Sargent painted the famous portrait Dr. Pozzi at Home. My friend Roman is the great-grandson of Dr. Samuel Pozzi so I had an idea to photograph Roman in a similar robe.
